As an academic research journal in the fields of art and art education which is published as a quarterly in Persian by Ferdows Institute for Higher Education with the license of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and under the registration number 86090, "Ferdows Honar" publishes original research and analytical articles authored based on scientific methods and findings in the fields of visual arts (graphics, painting, photography, sculpture) and applied arts (handicrafts, traditional arts, carpets, industrial design). The journal's main purpose is to help create new ideas in art, develop science in the field of art research and education, expand the theoretical and practical aspects of art, publish scientific findings, and inform about the latest research and educational achievements in art, seeking to improve the quality of education and research in ars and meet the scientific needs of the Iranian art community.
Considering its policies regarding calling for and evaluating articles, "Ferdows Honar" emphasizes the creative and innovative aspect of the articles, their citation to new scientific sources, overcoming the drawbacks in Iranian art studies, development of knowledge, and correction of attitudes towards art and its requirements based on credible sources. Stressing on the development of discursive space, theory-building in visual and applied arts, and the critical aspects of art education in Iran, this journal does not accept articles that rely merely on statistical data. The submitted articles will be reviewed via double-blind review and published if approved by reviewers and the editorial board. To facilitate the use of articles published in this journal by professors, researchers, students, and artists, "Ferdows Honar" has provided open free access to all articles uploaded on the journal's website, seeking to establish broader communications with the world.
Undergoing the process of taking the scientific research license, "Ferdows Honar" welcomes the articles of professors, art scholars, and honorable students to achieve its goals.
