Honorable researchers and authors are requested to carefully read the information presented in this guide and submit their article if it is within the mentioned framework to avoid wasting their time and capital. If the article is not arranged according to the structural and writing items described in the authors' guide, it will not enter the reviewing process.

  1. Guide to Prepare and Submit a Research Paper

1.1.The structure of the article and its requirements

"Ferdows Honar" journal accepts scientific articles, including research articles, review articles, case studies, and applied articles. Moreover, according to the journal's policies, only researches that are not purely descriptive or statistic-based will be accepted. Therefore, those researches that investigate the testability of a previously proven hypothesis by statistical procedures, rely merely on surveys and formulas, the quantitative studies, and those which are based only on collected data (collage-type research), will not be accepted. The article's subject should be in the specialized fields of art (visual and applied arts), architecture, and interdisciplinary art topics. The subject should be innovative and develop the level of knowledge in the mentioned areas. The articles should also avoid generalizations and prejudices, and be well-reasoned.

In sum, the following factors would lead to the rejection of the article in the first stage of its submission:

-          Incompatibility with the journal's scope;

-          The article's research method does not fit the methods accepted by the journal (Weakness of qualitative approach in research, mere reliance on statistical measurements, being too technical, and lacking theoretical aspects)

-          Lack of scientific structure (no question or theory) and reliance on compositional and reporting methods in authoring the article's content;

-          Repeated content (Most aspects of the article's question or hypothesis has already been investigated by other studies)

-          Non-compliance with the instructions mentioned in the authors' guide
