چکیده [English]

Statement of the problem: In recent decades, coworking have been highlighted as one of the most important phenomena in the world of work and businesses. These spaces are places where people with a variety of backgrounds and occupations, from entrepreneurs to employees of start-up companies and small teams, use common spaces to carry out their activities and share resources. In these environments, the concept of happiness is important as a factor that can have a significant impact on improving the quality of work, job satisfaction, and even the level of success and effectiveness of teams and individuals. Although many co-working environments have focused on providing technical and social facilities, the role of happiness in these places has not yet been fully explored. Shared workspaces are superior to regular workspaces; Because they provide multiple facilities, which people can benefit from. In addition, they have lower costs than renting private offices.
Necessity of the research: On the other hand, the absence of a happy work environment can lead to many problems in the work environment: these conditions may reduce the motivation and energy of employees, as a result of which, employees feel physically and mentally tired (job burnout syndrome) and quickly They lose their motivation and enthusiasm. Workplaces that are filled with negative emotions, pressure and stress can cause a drop in concentration, creativity and willingness to cooperate in a team. Also, this situation may decrease employee satisfaction, increase resignation rates, and even increase absenteeism rates. The absence of a happy work environment not only harms individuals, but also organizations, because this can lead to a decrease in the overall performance and productivity of the organization and, over time, lead to the departure of employees with important capabilities and experiences of the organization.
The purpose of the research: This research aims to investigate the role of happiness in improving job performance, the quality of work life in a shared work space. A deeper investigation of this relationship can provide useful solutions for improving the design of coworking space and improving the efficiency and satisfaction of people sharing these spaces. Since happiness directly affects efficiency, motivation, and also the relationship with others, this research emphasizes the importance of awareness and creating effective environmental conditions to promote happiness in these spaces.
Research method: Data collection has been done by analyzing studies of successful examples of collaborative work spaces and matching them with happy architectural features.
Conclusion: The findings indicate that the components of happiness in the coworking space include: light, comfort, control, belonging, aesthetics, activity and nature, which are known as a factor of increasing the effectiveness and satisfaction of employees. The components of happiness play an important role in the architecture of coworking space and allow the designers of these spaces to create an environment that affects the quality of work life and productivity. These factors create a positive and happy overall feeling and have a direct impact on the well-being and satisfaction of employees in these spaces. In general, paying attention to the components of happiness in the design of shared work spaces improves the macro atmosphere of the space and increases the level of comfort and convenience for employees. The results of examining the case examples indicate that: in the shared workspace of Holland Park, more attention has been paid to the components of happiness than in the two shared workspaces of Coven and Utopic. Holland Park is one of the most famous co-working spaces in the Netherlands. Using the concepts of open and transparent architecture, open and green spaces, and the use of ecological materials, Holland Park has tried to create a friendly and happy working environment. Interior design enhances the feeling of happiness and work motivation by choosing pleasant colors and furniture related to work activities. Also, by providing social facilities such as cafes, trick spaces and various events, Holland Park promotes opportunities for interaction and information exchange, a component of the sense of belonging. In fact, in this space, flowing colors and natural materials along with an artistic design have turned the working spaces into a turning point for the happiness and well-being of users. Happiness plays a very important role in the architecture of shared workspace and has a direct effect on the morale and performance of employees. Work spaces with cheerful and dynamic designs can increase the sense of connection and motivation, which in turn leads to improved collaboration and innovation in teams. This positive motivation can increase creativity, flexible thinking, and even increase productivity. Providing social and recreational spaces in the workplace facilitates the improvement of relationships between team members and increases the sense of group cohesion. Also, architecture with colors, appropriate lighting and the use of happy design elements can improve the mood and overall well-being of employees. As a result, understanding and paying attention to the role of happiness in the design of shared workspaces can improve the level of satisfaction and performance.
